He Who Had No Sin [2 Corinthians 5:21]

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV

Hello All! I really like this verse because it just really puts a very clear message on Jesus’ sacrifice for us. He had no sin, and then became sin so that we might become the righteousness of God. He left complete perfection that we might be in heaven with Him. He sacrificed so much and yet still gave us a choice about whether or not we would accept His gift. Some people may think that God couldn’t love us if He didn’t just give us free passage into heaven, but in reality it is the complete opposite. God loved us so much that He gave us free will, the power to choose our actions. With great power, however, comes great responsibility. We have to face the consequences of our actions, whether they are good or bad.
